Summer Camp 2009 Schedule

| July 20-24 | Princesses and Knights
Our Knights and Princesses theme is always a favorite week. We will be exploring castles, and building the sand variety. Books, music and crafts will keep this week adventure fun filled! Did we mention costumes? |

| July 27-31 | Discovering Dinosaurs/Our Planet Earth
Our mornings will be filled with games, books and reading, music and crafts. Our young paleontologists will be digging for dinosaur eggs and bones, and we will be creating our own museum with our found artifacts. We will be raising and harvesting butterflies to let go into our own butterfly garden. "Reduce, Recycle and Reuse" will be the theme of our crafts and activities. |

| August 3-7 | Amazing Fairies and Incredible Super Heroes
We have lots of art activities, costumes and more fun keeping Litchfield Little School safe and fun. We will be exploring science experiments, books, music and good times. Loads of fun. |

| August 10-14 | The Wild West: A Cowboy and Cowgirl Adventure
We will be grazing our horses on the playground and entering the Little Litchfield School Ranch for this fun filled week. We will be exploring some "range" food from Cowboy Kid Chili to Cowgirl S'mores. Plenty of artwork, stories, music and just down home fun. |
We offer a "pick and choose" menu of 4 different weeks. Each week is a separate, self contained thematic unit. You may sign up for one, two, three or all four weeks. During the week there will be crafts, music, songs, dress-up costume days, books, cooking and science experiments -- all real, "hands on" learning activities. The topics are conducive to both outdoor and indoor activities. The goal is to have lots to do and lots of fun.
We will be able to have a maximum of 17 children in each class. The hours are 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. We provide a mid-morning snack and drink.
Registration for our summer camp program is open to any child that is presently attending Litchfield Little School (including our graduating Kindergarten,) and those children who are registered with the school for 2006-2007. Our state license allows us to accept only children who are at least 3 years old and toilet trained.
If the classes aren't full, then registration will be open to other children. A Health Form will be required. Children not currently registered as students at Litchfield Little School must be at least 4 to 6 years old. Registration forms are available on this site, or by visiting the school.
Every camp week will include children of different ages. There will be enough staff present, so that when it is appropriate, we can group the children for separate activities.
The cost of the program is $100.00 (each child) per attended week. Children currently registered for classes at Litchfield Little school (and Kindergarten graduates) receive a 10% discount. We also offer an additional 10% discount for multiple children from the same family OR children attending multiple weeks. All checks should be made out to "Litchfield Little School".
